Keith has now opted for semi-retirement, but can be seen behind the counter Thursday to Saturday. His experience and knowledge means Keith can advise you on all your butchery requirements
Keith has spent his life within the meat industry starting in Louth and moving to London to further his career yet returning here to work for Laking’s at their beef shop. At the of the amalgamation of the beef and pork shop, he moved to the present site in Little Eastgate.
Keith started work in the meat trade as a school leaver, joining Jack Smith's Butchers in Upgate. He prepared meat and sausage products at the shop and delivered them by van to customers in the surrounding villages. As new opportunities emerged he moved to Louth's first Supermarket and then further afield.
